March 2011

WATERLOO, Canada -- NDI (Northern Digital Inc.), a world-leader in 3D measurement technology for medical, industrial and research applications, is pleased to announce it will be exhibiting at the 58th AORN Congress, being held in Philadelphia March 18-24, 2011.

Located in booth #1155, NDI will feature two versions of sterile, reflective markers for use with most Image-Guided Surgery (IGS) systems.

Reflective Marker Spheres for IGS - by NDI

NDI's display will include Disposable Reflective Marker Spheres for Brainlab® IGS systems, for which NDI is now the authorized Brainlab partner. These spheres are designed specifically for use with any Brainlab IGS system.

In addition to markers designed for Brainlab systems, NDI will be showing its line of NDI Passive Spheres. NDI Passive Spheres are the original reflective markers developed for IGS systems and are compatible with IGS systems that use snap-fit spheres. NDI Passive Spheres are sold direct-to-hospital in various sterile configurations, including options that contain spheres in NDI's new safe-handling trays and help minimize the risk of dropping sterile spheres.

"NDI is pleased to be able to offer a full-line of IGS reflective markers direct-to-hospital with the diligent customer service that medical centers have come to rely on," stated Dave Rath, V.P Medical Division at NDI.
