NDI will be in Booth #672 and will feature the Aurora Electromagnetic Tracking System. With no line-of-sight restrictions, the Aurora EM tracking system can track tools while inside the body, allowing for many innovative implementations, such as tracking the tips of flexible medical instruments commonly used in interventional radiology procedures
The applications for EM tracking in the medical field continue to expand and the ability of the technology to enhance procedures which involve minimally-invasive instrumentation continues to gain recognition.
